I was originally invited into this family home for a consultation and guidance on a few quick fixes, with the intention of helping the clients prepare to sell in a couple of years.

But after spending some time in the home and understanding how the family lived, I could see something they hadn’t yet been able to see themselves. This home already held the potential they had been hoping to find in another.

With considered cabinetry design, a new spatial plan, correctly scaled furniture, warm timber floors installed and a fresh coat of paint, we were able to create an entirely new home and experience for this family to enjoy long term.

Every problem was thoughtfully resolved - from lack of functionality and storage to the disjointed layout, poor flow and dark, gloomy spaces.

The result is a light filled, warm and welcoming family home, with a sense of connection and all the functionality this family could ever need.

Sometimes, you don’t need a new home. You just need the potential in the one you already have.
