The Design Process.

The design process can be stressful for some, whether it’s new furniture, paint selection, a renovation or a new build.

We are here to help the process be more enjoyable and less stressful for you, while creating a bespoke design specific to your home and needs.

All of our projects begin with just three simple steps.

Step One - Discovery call or communication over email.

It’s important we discuss your project, including your wants, needs and what your desired outcome may be. But we also understand not everyone wants to or has the time to schedule a call. Which is why we also offer this step to be via email correspondence.

It’s during this communication that we decide which initial consultation would best suit your project.

From here, we schedule your in-home or in-studio consultation.

Step Two - The initial design consultation -

Our initial consultation would usually take place at your home or place of project.

Depending on the consultation chosen, this will be our opportunity to meet and discuss your project in-depth. You can read more detail about our two options for consultations here…..

Step Three - Design Fee Proposal -

After our initial consultation, I prepare a detailed design fee proposal, based on the scope of work discussed during our time together. Every proposal is bespoke to your project and individual needs.

This proposal will be emailed through to you within 48 hours of our consultation.

Within this proposal, I clearly outline the scope of work and the steps required to create the design.

This means you know exactly what’s involved within that fee. No confusion and no hidden costs.

If you then choose to move forward with the proposal, we begin the full design process. This process will be clearly outlined and explained to you before we proceed and usually looks a little something like this.

  • Site meeting

  • Concept design

  • Finishes, Furniture and styling selections

  • Design presentation

  • Design development

  • Construction

  • Final styling and Installation Day

  • Your beautifully finished home is then presented to you.
